The bullfighter chosen to give life to Manolete has been Curro Díaz , from Linares, who shares a curious coincidence with Manolete: his mother gave birth to him in the same room of the Hospital de los Marqueses de Linares where she died on August 28th. "Curro is a symbol of the city and this year he has been chosen as a Favorite Son of Linares ," say the club. And they also explain how the idea of ​​​​making this tribute came about.
